All About Shang Ke

When I was young, the first thing I used to do when I got a new Barbie doll was to take her clothes off. Then, with my sewing kit in hand, I would weave my wildest imaginations onto the doll: Suits, evening gowns, tutus, all clumsily crafted from scrap pieces of cloth and unused materials found around my house. They were the proudest masterpieces of my childhood. I always feel an immense sense of fulfillment when I communicate and give through my art. My motivation lies in my continuing search for my artistic voice and I am inspired to know that I can immerse in an environment that allows me to fail and even fail better as I search for my true north.
